Residential School For Physical Handicapped
" Organization have started the residential school in the year 1999 for physical handicapped children’s for rehabilitation of their education and physical."
This school is recognized by the State Government. Organization have provided the food and lodging facility to the students with free of cost. with the progress of students in education, for rehabilitation of physical health of students, organization taking help of district civil hospital and eminent orthopedic surgeon, makes sonality development with therirecuarrangement of physical checkup camp for checking health. Organization makes efforts in doing operations o physical handicapped students. At least 10 Students are operated every year on their skeleton problems and making less disabilities by fitting calipers.with the school education, the occupational training also given to these handicapped students. In such training, making chalks, incense sticks, Rakhi , toys, handkerchiefs, sweaters of wool etc.

Organization Information
Navjivan VidyaVikas Mandal Nagaon, Tal. Dist. Dhule is a registered society. The society was established in the year 1986. Under the registration number of Mumbai Public Trusts Act, 1950, various educational and social activities are being carried out with the approval of the State Government and the Central Government. It has started girls 'high school for girls, girls' hostel, old age home for destitute old people, de-addiction center for addicted brothers.

Navjivan VidyaVikas Mandal Nagaon, Tal. Dist. Dhule is a registered society. Research has shown that poor health does not have to be an inevitable consequence of growing older. Death is inevitable, but, for many people, it need not be preceded by a slow, painful, and disability- ridden decline. Our nation will continue to age -- that we cannot change -- but we can delay and in many cases prevent illness and disability.
Physical Rehabilitation
Since its inception, the institute has conducted medical examinations of about 260 students, successfully operated on 125 students and rehabilitated them, providing them with calipers, crutches and wheelchairs (three wheeled bicycles). Educational Rehabilitation
The institute has provided free board and lodging to 50 physically challenged students and provided them with all kinds of school materials.
Business Training Center
With the academic development of the students, they will be able to stand on their own feet in their future life. For this, business training is given long with book education. It mainly involves making chalk, making files etc. Vocational training is imparted to the students by imparting training in making footpaths, making rakhi, making various woolen items, making vati etc.

Our Activities
Centre for Special Education
Navjeevan is a dedicated center of special education. Navjeevan Vidyavikas Mandal provides a comprehensive and holistic learning experience for persons with disabilities. Students in the age group of 2 to 18 years are given the opportunity to understand their potential and enhance their education with special training and staff.
Navjeevan Vidyavikas Mandal takes care that students will not face any difficulty in education.
Sports, Leisure and Recreation
For all round development of children, it is imperative for any education system to integrate holistic teaching patterns with academic knowledge. To support the learning of children, Umang has a dedicated set of activities and group for sports, leisure and recreation. Here, the students have a regular time allocated to activities like games, sports, dance, theatre, painting, art and craft, adventure, etc.
Physiotherapy
The well-equipped Physiotherapy unit has a trained and experienced full-time team of senior and junior physiotherapists. These therapists not only help the students at Umang but also reach out to a large number of people in the community. The major role of a therapist includes:
Speech Therapy
Persons with disability are a part of the community. But due to various reasons, they still do not have their rightful place in the community. To increase and encourage community participation, Umang believes in sensitising the community and making respectful place for persons with disability in the community. For integrating persons with disability in mainstream schools, constant efforts are made at grassroots level by implementing projects and programs in association with the students and schools.
